  • Why the Textus Receptus?
More and more people are realizing that the Alexandrian Text of the New Testament (used in NA28 and UBS 5) is not absolutely the perfect original. There is a growing interest and desire to return to the traditional Textus Receptus which is closer to the majority of all surviving Greek manuscripts. Yet, the most famous Greek Textus Receptus of 1550 was not easily accessible for purchase in print until we recently published a reprint edition. Similarly, it has been realized that the Septuagint Old Testament, as well as the Latin Vulgate etc. are all inferior witnesses to the Biblical text compared to the Masoretic Text. Several historic editions of the Hebrew Old Testament are becoming difficult to purchase in book form.
